You should enjoy every little bit of your wedding, and wedding photography is a big part of that. Everyone likes saying that the photos are important because they are what remain when the day is over, and that is true. But we think it goes much further than that. The experience of taking your photos should enhance the day, not distract from it. And the more you enjoy taking the photos, the more you'll enjoy them afterwards.

Professional wedding photography involves a whole range of skills. With time and experience the technical and artistic skills are much more intuitive, so we can spend our main focus on you and your families. Catching moments, joining in, documenting your day. By keeping things relaxed, natural and fun we help you feel confident, look your best and be yourselves.

If you've been to a wedding recently, look for your images in our galleries. They're usually ready two weeks after the wedding and stay there for at least a year, but please ask if you can't find them. We send a regular email newsletter with tips on taking and enjoying your photos with any camera, looking good in photos, planning your wedding, plus our news and special offers.
Services
Kate and Richard have been photographing weddings together for over ten years as well as individually.
So we wanted to show a portfolio of just Kate's work for our couples who are booking her exclusively for their wedding.
Kate has an amazing eye for detail and takes the time to create beautiful compositions that make Richard completely jealous.
She sees amazing opportunities for gorgeous photographs in every location.
Kate loves getting to know a bride and groom and working with them to build their confidence and take fun, creative photographs.
Here are some 'tasting notes' to help you know what to look for in a portfolio.
Artistry alone is not enough - I'm a stickler for detail.
So everything is crisp, sharp and perfectly exposed in bright, rich colours that are true to the original.
No need for filters which look dated in five years time.
A photographers portfolio is the best way to get a feel for their style and the kind of photographs they produce.
You should really love the photos you see there if you're thinking of booking them.
It's important to see lots of photographs from real weddings from start to finish.
You want to see consistently great photographs right throughout the day, in all kinds of places and conditions.
As a wedding photographer you never quite know what you're going to get, so experience is essential.
Our job is to cover your whole wedding with beautiful photographs that will retell your story and bring back the happy emotions every time you look at them.
When we met Richard at the National Wedding show, we could tell the quality of his work was excellent.
The engagement photoshoot is a great way for us to get to know each other before the wedding.
It's a chance for you to see how we work and the kind of photos you can get.
Once we've had a practice you'll be much more confident about photos.
Then when the day comes having your photographs taken just won't be something you're worried about.
Don't worry too much about the name 'engagement photographs'.
It's nothing formal and of course it doesn't matter if you've been engaged a while already.
Mostly it's a chance to get some gorgeous photos of the two of you before the big day which are great for invitations, table names, guest books, gifts, all sorts.
You can book Kate or Richard for your wedding photography, so do tell us your planned wedding date if you'd like to check which of us is available.
Information and prices for albums is here.
Please do ask if you have any questions or want to talk about something specific for your plans.
