You should enjoy every little bit of your wedding, and wedding photography is a big part of that. Everyone likes saying that the photos are important because they are what remain when the day is over, and that is true. But we think it goes much further than that. The experience of taking your photos should enhance the day, not distract from it. And the more you enjoy taking the photos, the more you'll enjoy them afterwards.

Professional wedding photography involves a whole range of skills. With time and experience the technical and artistic skills are much more intuitive, so we can spend our main focus on you and your families. Catching moments, joining in, documenting your day. By keeping things relaxed, natural and fun we help you feel confident, look your best and be yourselves.

If you've been to a wedding recently, look for your images in our galleries. They're usually ready two weeks after the wedding and stay there for at least a year, but please ask if you can't find them. We send a regular email newsletter with tips on taking and enjoying your photos with any camera, looking good in photos, planning your wedding, plus our news and special offers.

read more › Kate and Richard have been photographing weddings together for over ten years as well as individually. So we wanted to show a portfolio of just Kate's work for our couples who are booking her exclusively for their wedding. Kate has an amazing eye for detail and takes the time to create beautiful compositions that make Richard completely jealous. She sees amazing opportunities for gorgeous photographs in every location. Kate loves getting to know a bride and groom and working with them to build their confidence and take fun, creative photographs.

So everything is crisp, sharp and perfectly exposed in bright, rich colours that are true to the original. No need for filters which look dated in five years time. A photographers portfolio is the best way to get a feel for their style and the kind of photographs they produce. You should really love the photos you see there if you're thinking of booking them.

You want to see consistently great photographs right throughout the day, in all kinds of places and conditions. As a wedding photographer you never quite know what you're going to get, so experience is essential. Our job is to cover your whole wedding with beautiful photographs that will retell your story and bring back the happy emotions every time you look at them. When we met Richard at the National Wedding show, we could tell the quality of his work was excellent.

Once we've had a practice you'll be much more confident about photos. Then when the day comes having your photographs taken just won't be something you're worried about. Don't worry too much about the name 'engagement photographs'. It's nothing formal and of course it doesn't matter if you've been engaged a while already. Mostly it's a chance to get some gorgeous photos of the two of you before the big day which are great for invitations, table names, guest books, gifts, all sorts.

Information and prices for albums is here. Please do ask if you have any questions or want to talk about something specific for your plans. Full coverage with Kate on the day from bridal preparations through to the evening and first dance. Portable studio setup at the reception with fun props and blackboards to encourage your guests to get.creative.

It's a fun thing for guests to do in the gap between the meal and the first dance, and we get some really fun photos from it. We'll set up a portable white backdrop and lighting during your meal ready for the evening, or we can just use a nice area within your venue. We can even take it outside if weather allows. Guests can choose from a big selection of silly props for inspiration, and write you messages on blackboards.

They are then laminated to thick board pages and bound using traditional bookbinding methods. Whilst the album is a more modern type, we keep the designs simple and timeless with clean white lines and simple layouts that let your photographs really shine. If you'd like to see some in person please get in touch and we'll meet up.

There have probably been a few photos over the years you've liked, and maybe you notice they have something in common. Pretty much every day someone tells me, "You know something." For your wedding, you're going to need a mixture of candid photos (love those), photos where you're looking at the camera, and photos where you're not looking, but you do know we're there.

read more › We're proud of our work and the feedback we get from our customers. We'll always treat you the way we would want to be treated. Good manners go a long way, like learning names and showing admiration for all the hard work you've put into your plans. We've photographed hundreds of weddings in every kind of venue, lighting and weather. We've climbed hills, paddled in the sea, crawled behind pews, driven golf buggies, jump started rolls-royces and hung out of windows to get the shot. Experience is valuable because wedding photography is varied and the day can be unpredictable.

read more › How can you help us feel sure about choosing you? - We TOTALLY appreciate this is a big investment. Also possibly an area you aren't experienced in, and you're worried about making the right choice. Let's meet for a chat, look at sample albums and talk about your plans. We can also offer you a free trial shoot at a park, garden or your venue. It's so helpful to actually have a quick shoot and come away with great photos of yourselves before you decide. How far do you travel? - We can go anywhere.

read more › Please do call or send a message to ask us any questions, check your date is available or just say hi. It's really helpful to meet a photographer or videographer in person to find out how you get on and see some real examples of their work in person. We LOVE meeting couples and hearing about their wedding plans so if you'd like to get together in person or over skype, facetime or FB messenger just ask. If you've had a look at pricing and think we might be for you, we can offer you a simple free trial portrait session before you decide.
