Philippa James Photography
I'm Philippa, an Oxford wedding photographer. If you are getting married in and around Oxfordshire and looking for something a little different for your wedding, not wacky or way out, just a little more you, then I think I may have what you're looking for. You will have so many amazing options when planning your day, so my advice with regards to wedding photography is to take your time and have a good old browse around.

I'll be sending you your guide and regular emails about planning your wedding photography.
Services
If I were to sum up exactly what I do.
I'd say I photograph ordinary people in their happy place, be it on their wedding day or hanging out at home with their family.
We got married and had a mega family wedding and I can tell you, it really was the best bloody day ever!
It's the only time that you have everyone who is close to your heart, all in one place, where you can squeeze them all so hard and tell them how much you love them.
I set up this blog as a go to place for couples getting married in Oxford and it's surrounding areas.
The largest package is 2200 where I stay for 11 hours.
This guarantees you have the whole day and night covered.
This is especially great for weddings which involve a lot of travel from the ceremony to the reception.
Expect plenty of dancing shots, candid shots, mini portrait shots, the whole shebang!
So the most popular package is the 8 hour for 1850.
Within this package there is plenty of opportunity to document candid moments and two mini portrait shoots, as well as bridal preparations, speeches and the first dance.
I shoot in a very relaxed manner.
When I photograph children I like them to think of it more as a play-date, rather than they have to be on their best behaviour for a photoshoot.
My home sessions are real and raw, and very much based on your 'normal' what ever that may be.
I come to your home early in the morning and document your daily routine.
They are and they are for families who want honest memories of this time right now.
You will receive about 150 images, available to download which will include many documentary story telling images as well as portraits of you all.
With a different prompt for each month (January Behind the Window, February Self Portrait, March Movement and April Documentary) the women of The Motherhood have created new work.
This exhibition was curated to showcase their talent, their unwavering creativity and the exceptional photographs they have produced.
It's a photographic journey of the first four months since we emerged from national lockdown.
