I'm Cary, owner and photographer at Cary Smart Photography which I established in 2013. Beginning with family and child location portrait photography the business has now grown to include studio sessions for families and children of all ages along with newborn and baby portraiture, and I was delighted to open my dedicated studio space in early 2020.
Quality, artistry and legacy are my three cornerstones. I'm dedicated to creating beautiful photographs presented in quality products, whilst providing an exceptional experience for my clients from start to finish. Can parents and siblings be in some of the photos?
Yes, of course!
These photos are always treasured later on.
I'll take any family shots at the start of the session, and after that I do suggest that one parent or perhaps a grandparent takes the older siblings home or to a playground, as they tend to find the rest of the shoot a bit boring!

This is why I've created the Baby Club - three individual sessions to capture those important milestones in your baby's first year, with a complementary triple folio of one photo from each session at the end of it.
The first session is all about those tiny smiles and takes place around 3-5 months.
The second session takes place at around 7-9 months, capturing your little one sitting up, and the third session at around 12-18 months as your not-quite-so-little one starts to take his or her first steps.
You're completely captivated by this little person and how they grow, and you want to capture it.

Much of this damage can be repaired digitally, so before you throw out your old photos, take a look at the examples below.
This mounted photograph had suffered from damage through splashes, scuffs around the edges, plus a torn corner.
Using the details still in the photograph the missing area was reconstructed, and the splash damage was repaired.
This very old photograph was quite badly damaged, with a number of severe creases, small scratches over the whole print, some discoloured patches and a missing corner.
