From an early age I was always carrying a camera which is a strange thing to say now that almost everyone carries one on their phone, but in the 70s and early 80s when I was growing up in Carlisle it wasn't as common.
As such, I was asked to take photos of things like the local football team, or almost anything else that moved.
At the end of the 80s I moved away to university in Staffordshire to study Information Technology and again the camera came with me, documenting events and I started to get involved in wedding photography.
