Love Lila Photography
I'm Eva, a professional portrait photographer based in Scotland, and the gorgeous wee girl below me is Lila, my daughter and my muse. She is the reason I decided to start up my own portrait photography business and the inspiration behind the name. I have 17 years of professional photography experience. After studying at the Glasgow College of Building & Printing, I graduated and joined the Herald newspaper's picture desk.

A few years later I became a full time wedding photographer, a business I've been running with my husband, Craig, for over 15 years now. Then Lila was born. I love to document as many moments of Lila's life as I can as she grows up, and I've been doing the same for parents throughout Scotland for 9 years. I photograph families looking for bespoke, fine art photographs of their beautiful babies and specialise in capturing the little ones' personalities in a collection of soft, light, dreamy images.

I have a lovely natural light studio at my home in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, and each individual image is lovingly and artistically retouched and processed in my unique style, giving you beautiful portrait art that you can cherish in your home!
Services
My studio is at my home in Kilmarnock.
The walls and floors are painted white and it has big, east-facing windows for the best possible lighting.
I am a daylight photographer and I try to avoid using flash as much as I can so it's important to get as much daylight in the room as possible!
I also have beautiful photographs displayed in the studio with examples of the frames and albums I offer that you can have a look at.
Kilmarnock is located in East Ayrshire and is easily accessible from all areas of Ayrshire.
Not to worry, your session can be rescheduled!
Unfortunately the booking fee is non-refundable, but it is transferrable to the next suitable date.
It's ideal if only the parents attend the portrait session.
Too many people in the studio can cause distraction and may prevent the child from looking at me and the camera.
Bring a couple of different outfits for your child to wear.
Keep it simple, don't choose a busy pattern and try to stay away from strong colours like black or bright red.
This goes for you, too, parents!
