Photography that focuses on people, their relationships, their lives and the ways they connect with each other. Not only are you an incredible photographer, you're an amazing person too. I'm blown away by our family photos. The pictures perfectly reflect the emotions and beauty on the day, as well as all the fun, laughs and smiles. You are truly an artist!

A massive thank you Will! As someone who is very uncomfortable in front of the camera, I was put at ease very quickly and the results were fabulous. I needed some updated headshots for my LinkedIn profile / career development and was shocked at the increase in connections made on LinkedIn immediately after using the photos Will took. I would thoroughly recommend Will to anyone seeking professional photos.

I had previously used Will to take photos of my family and the results were stunning - so many beautiful photos taken I couldn't choose between them. Thank you again, Will.
Services
My name is Will Bazlinton.
I'm a family, portrait and wedding photographer living and working in Bournemouth, Dorset, on the beautiful Jurassic Coast, in South West England.
I graduated from UCA in Surrey 2002 with a BA in photography, where I specialised in portraiture.
I'm interested in people and the way they connect with each other - essentially, I photograph relationships.
I photograph things to remember them and to understand them.
So, I photograph people to understand them and their stories a little more (and consequently, a little more about myself).
Here's the thing.
When your family photographs are passed down through the generations shouldn't they be about more than just what your family looked like?
Wouldn't you rather you're able to show your children, and your children's children what their lives were like - who they were?
To know who they were and what they did when they'd forgotten anyone was looking?
What made them laugh, what made them cry?
How they played, how they fought, how they smiled?
The weird little things they did?
Documentary family photography captures and preserves the unrehearsed story of your family's daily life.
It's a privilege to be allowed into someones personal space to photograph them.
So an element of trust is important if I'm to make a portrait that's as honest a representation of you that I can.
I treat portrait sessions as a collaborative process rather than a 'subject/photographer' process.
I try to make it as easy and as relaxed an experience for you as possible.
Relaxed, informal portrait sessions at your home, office or on location, at a pace that suits you!.
We'll get the most out of our session if it takes place in an environment your familiar with so I'll come to you.
Capturing raw, honest emotion in single photographs.
Telling stories in single, unposed images rather than just creating a series of pretty snapshots.
Capturing the essence of that moment in a single frame so that you're able to look at that photograph weeks, months or years after it was made and remember how you felt at the time.
My style is unobtrusive, discreet storytelling.
I capture the moments of your day as they unfold naturally without interfering, moving anything or directing anyone.
I don't engineer moments or 'create' scenes - you won't find me setting up any cheesy shots or arranging groups of people into heart shapes!
Unlimited pre-shoot consultations to discuss your family session (either in person, on the phone or via Skype/Facetime, etc.).
Documentary coverage at home or at a location of your choosing (or both, with the longer sessions).
All of your photos fully edited and post-processed (by me) from your session, delivered via digital download through your gallery.
Options for books, prints and gallery frames that can be purchased directly from your gallery.
Individual portraits start at 120 but there are too many alternatives to list here so please do get in touch for a quote tailored specifically to you.
