Award Winning Photographer specialising in Location, Architectural & Portrait Photography. Despite the name, 'Chris Reeve Photographer' is very much a team, a carefully curated team who specialise in capturing only the very best light, action and composition. Together we create attention grabbing images that drive sales and help our clients achieve their business goals.

From products to services and Lifestyle Photography, our clients know exactly what to expect from us every time we work with them. Bringing experience, passion and technical problem-solving that only years of professional photography can prepare you for. It's true, our work is award winning, but every win awarded by our peers simply sets a new benchmark for us to exceed and drives us on to be the best we can be.

That's because after over 30 years the search for the perfect light, landscape, face, composition, idea and image still burns deep within. For us it's a point of personal pride, whatever the subject matter - from an everyday household appliance to a worldwide launch for a global, iconic automotive brand, we will always create the best images we can on time and on budget.
Services
Every member of the team brings their own unique qualities and strengths to the core, collectively forming the support and energy to fulfil the work well.
Chris Reeve - Photographer - Commercial Photographer for 30 years / Director / Film maker.
Each person has a firm foundation of photographic technical knowhow, as well as their own specialist areas of expertise.
What makes our team collaborate so well is that they do it with personable ease and ability to make the day to day problem solving and multi-tasking of running a commercial photography business a little smoother.
After 30 years of commissioned work, it's been a bit of a journey to decide which photos sum up an individual style.
Simply showcasing pictures I like, commercially successful jobs, or just commissions I've deemed interesting or artistic maybe?
I feel I've included a mixture of all of the above.
My photography techniques have grown exponentially over the decade, but my style of graphic composition, use of colour and a sense of spontaneity perhaps have stuck through-out the last decade.
Many of the images here are of recent work, some being projects of a scale and interest that we very much like to get our teeth into.
The images may look very easy to accomplish but the reality is a lot of planning, preparation, luck and experience.
I suppose you could say we practice all of this fine tuning of work flow on personal projects where we are the client.
It's a chance to experiment and try new techniques or shoot in a way that many clients may initially think is too arty or not commercially sound until they see the results.
Interestingly we have found that by experimenting and giving some space for a more creative flow on personal projects, many of the ideas are picked up as work we are asked to replicate for brand campaigns.
It's always uplifting to know that work created is of a certain standard.
Entering awards maintains a consistency and affirms we are still top of our game, giving confidence to our clients that we are still striving for that illusive perfection.
In 2014 I made the decision to enter the International Photography Awards every year with at least two or three images.
Last year I won an award for all three entries, including one for the Moving Images section with our short film 'Who are you?'.
This year I picked up an Honourable Mention in the Landscape section for a personal project series on the Dinorwig quarry in Wales.
I don't see video as replacing stills photography, for me it's more of an evolution that works in tandem with it.
Stills and video make a strong package, communicating an instant message and bringing a scene to life in a way that arguably one cannot do without the other.
We have been working in video and moving images since 2009, over those years we have developed gradually, now we confidently offer video as a commercial venture.
In 2018 we made over a dozen commissions in small corporate videos for use in top education establishments and businesses.
