Hi, I'm Daniel, based in Hampshire in the South of England. I've held an interest in photography from a very early age with my first 'proper' camera being an Olympus dual lens compact which I bought in Baltimore back in the 90's.

Over the years I've gravitated towards food, travel and stock photography and this is represented in the galleries you can see here, however I've been known to turn my lens to portraiture, weddings, sport events and other genres when the opportunity presented - I find that the endless variety of photography subjects, locations and ever changing styles are a core reason for my passion behind the lens!

That and the fact that there is ALWAYS something new to learn and different shots, styles, lighting setups and recipes to try.I aim to have a key understanding of what the desired output is from a photo shoot, so I work closely and openly with all involved to ensure that, wherever possible, the final results go above and beyond initial expectations.Other than behind the lens, you'll likely find me somewhere outside, either getting muddy XC biking, trail running or perhaps just out for a walk or hike.

Food glorious food, and I couldn't agree more.!
I take a great deal of pride in my food photography and prepare, cook, bake, steam, roast, fry and style each session myself, mainly because I'm going to eat or drink it afterwards!
I'd be happy to help you with any food imagery for your business, restaurant, website or other endeavours; contact me and let's have a conversation.
For those of you that may not already know, stock photography is a genre of photography that can be used to illustrate an idea, subject or concept amongst other things.
Photographers supply image libraries with photos which you can then search, browse and licence to use in various projects.
So, for example, lets say an advertising agency wants to produce a website for a cycling company, but doesn't want to pay for a photographer to cover the Tour de France (because of the cost of travel, logistics involved etc.), they are able to search a stock library for images relevant to their needs.
