I've always been creative - whether it's dressmaking (including turning old handbags into hats!) or writing and performing songs. But I found my true creative niche after my son Peter was born and I began taking pictures of him. As all parents know, those early years pass so quickly and suddenly those tiny little people are teenagers! Recording those cherished moments as Peter began to grow became so important.

I knew I was creating memories my husband Tony and I would be able to look back on. I knew too I'd finally found the perfect outlet for my creativity so I went back to university to immerse myself in photography. I set up my portrait photography and family lifestyle business from my home in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey in 2007 and it brings together so many facets of my life.

I love being with people - getting to know them and finding out about their lives. I think that's why I'm able to put clients at ease so they get the get the best out of their photoshoot whether they are a personal brand client or a family.
Services
My family and I had never had a session prior to Annie, therefore, trusting someone to capture our family moments, in a way that truly reflects our bond with one and another, was a big deal for me.
Building upto the shoot, I was extremely nervous about the shoot, as I have a child with special needs, and worried for the work that had to be put in for the preparation and 'on the day'.
Annie did not just deliver, but exceeded our expectations which, is evident in her work.
She took care of all my concerns and worries, helped with every aspect of the preparation with me, helping my son and adjusting to his needs on the day of the shoot.
I have had my photography business for 13 years and I am proud that through investing in both business and photography training throughout my career I am now at the stage that I can pass on what I have learnt on my journey to be a successful photographer.
I am already a regular speaker at The Societies convention and also at the Master of Photographers Meet the Masters Day.
Recent business accolades include being voted one of the top 100 Female Entrepreneurs in the UK 2020 as part of the F:Entrepreneur Campaign raising the awareness of women in business.
I wouldn't say that I have been a great traveller.
Looking back however, I know that I would have loved to have backpacked through South America and Asia in my younger days.
I am at my happiest when I am experiencing new adventures and taking images which are not predictable.
I love to see things in a way that people haven't seen before.
Taking photos on holiday is a delight for me and to see them displayed at home gives me so much pleasure.
It is my initial goal to sell Giclee fine art prints which you can frame yourself and then at a later date I will provide bespoke framing.
