The Scottish Photography Experience
Established in 2010, in Edinburgh, The Scottish Photography Experience Tours have consistently been rated as the number one photography tour in Europe! We have won the 2019 Travel and Leisure Industry Award for "Best Learning Experience in Scotland". Our Photography Tour of Edinburgh is led by world renowned photographer, James Christie. A native of Edinburgh but spent 12 years in London and 15 years in Los Angeles before returning to Edinburgh in 2004.

Our tours are aimed at all levels of photographer from absolute beginner to very experienced amateur. The picture to the right is my new dog, Beaux. If you would like him to attend your tour, please indicate that in the notes section at the time of booking. I would recommend this tour to any of my friends. James's knowledge, skill and the personal anecdotes combined to make a fantastic adventure.

I saw all of Edinburgh, learned a new skill, lost some laziness, and ended up with INCREDIBLE photos. Thank you, James! The highlight of our entire trip.
