Andrew Fletcher Photographer
As a Dad of four beautiful children growing up (too) fast, I can tell you from a very personal experience how quickly the years pass. I have thousands of happy snaps of them taken throughout their young lives and the're a lovely reminder, but they are nothing compared to the pictures we produce here in the Studio. Our speciality is to show you a side of your children that you have never seen before.

Our photographs are often a window to their future years and it's an amazing experience for parents to see how your little people are portrayed in our 'fine art' professional portraits. Well first of all we shoot EVERYTHING in colour during the shoot, so you can have colour or b&w. However many of our customers (during the session), decide they prefer the b&w images when they see them!

Based in Scunthorpe - North Lincolnshire, our family run, family friendly studio is easily accessible from all surrounding areas including Hull, Lincoln, Doncaster and Grimsby. With plenty of off road parking and a warm welcome, Andrew Fletcher Studio is the number one choice if you are looking for timeless, elegant, beautiful portraiture.

I have always been a advocate of 'Genuine' Documentary Wedding Photography - also termed Reportage, Candid and Wedding Photojournalist.
In my opinion, they are all basically the same thing, a style of photography that is genuinely natural, non-intrusive and most importantly ALL about capturing the decisive moment - nothing more, nothing less!
As a Reportage Wedding photographer here are a selection of my favourite images, taken from the last few of years.
They are not your traditional wedding pictures, but rather images that hopefully tell a story from a moment in time.
Each image should convey a feeling of what was happening at the precise moment I chose to press the shutter.
A kiss, a laugh, a tear, a reassuring touch or a look, are what makes an image timeless & memorable, and hopefully you will 'see' it too.!.
The four W's.
What - Where - When and Why, are major elements that are paramount to creating 'genuine' successful reportage wedding photography.
In this section of my website, I showcases individual images which stood out from a particular wedding and I love for one reason or another.
They are not necessarily all award-winning wedding photographs (some are) but as 'True' Documentary Photographer, each one of them resonates with me in some way.
When shooting weddings, I am in my element while simply observing moments, and then capturing them naturally for my clients.
In many cases, these moments are totally unexpected, but captured forever - in some, I also mention the technical issues behind the shot.
If you look at my wedding photography on this website, you will see that my work is very different to that of the 'traditional' wedding photographer.
It is all about capturing what really happens on a wedding day.
Hi, I'm Andrew - a full-time professional documentary wedding photographer based in Scunthorpe - North Lincolnshire, covering weddings across the UK.
I have photographed over 400+ weddings, and specialise in 'genuine' Documentary/Reportage Wedding Photography.
Trends in wedding photography come and go, but my challenge is to produce for you a beautiful set of timeless images that tell the story of your wedding.
Ok, if you have got this far into my website, or you have seen my work before, you will see that I have a huge love for black and white photography.
Especially black and white wedding photography.
Everything is captured in colour on the day, so you have the best of both worlds - and although my black and white work is very important in my wedding photography (around 50-60% of my finished images are black and white), there is of course a place for colour images too.
As a documentary wedding photographer I have a responsibility to ensure that the photographs I capture on a wedding day, are correctly exposed, using available light and have good composition and story telling elements.
